I was born in 1965, and as long as I can remember, I have been making and changing things. I cut the wigs of my dolls, scratched 'Zorro' just about everywhere, and pasted, crafted and drew all the time. I have even done some textile work, as witnessed by the photo. Later my creativity took a back seat to school and work in ICT, and I only made things 'on the sly'. Yet I still created stuff: baby toys from wood, painted and printed T-shirts, cakes, dinners, photo's, a design here and there...

In 2001-2003 I have attended the Graphic Design courses from the Grafisch Lyceum in Utrecht, but for the most part I am self-taught.

I seem to work in any material that is available, be it paint, crayon, paper mache, bronze... and both 2D as 3D, whatever appears best suited.

My current themes are threefold:

Body image - what is beautifull or ugly, and how does it feel
City combing - collages from stuff found in the city; from sodacans to buttons and earrings.
Situational installations - Objects or spaces, inspired by the location and/or the current situation.
